RBPAT is forming an Endowment Fund. The idea is to place the money into interest earning accounts and to leave the base donor amount intact. Only earned interest will be used in budgeting and will be used to help us with the expense elements of running our theatre.
We are a Tax Exempt Charitable Organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and your donations may be tax deductible.
Some people decide to give a gift of a life insurance policy that they take out on themselves while naming RBPAT as the beneficiary. The insurance payments may then be tax deductible.
Others choose to deed property or to donate other assets such as stock and bonds for endowment use.
In this manner people live on as those who empowered the Rosie Belle Theatre to a lifetime of service to our community.
Larger donations warrant a named endowment fund. Other people want to be annonymous donors.
The choice is yours and we will work with you and your representatives to craft an endowment plan suitable to your wishes.
